We will soon be swapping our caravan for a new bailey Cartagena. We are aware that the insurance is going to increase even more so with a twin axle can anyone recommend an insurance company that is good with these vans we are currently with the c&cc but will be shopping around.

Remember cover is just as important as price.

I have paid £320 new for old with the CC, this could be reduced further if I took the wheel clamp discount but it is not practical to fit them on sites so I don't.

And I have 10yrs NCB

I got a selection of quotes when I switched to a TA but stayed with the C&CC as they still offered the best overall value to me.

Towergate will insist on a tracker(probably a tr 20 by bulldog ) I had problems with this tracker sending spurious messages ,I am now with lifesure

We have a tracker as our Peggy came with it, but our previuos vans have not, no problems with Towergate. Is this for twin axles perhaps?

Remember each year to re-value your caravan for your renewal, the price should then reduce in line with the caravans new value.
If you don't the insured value will probably stay at the higher rate.
Also let them know when the new for old time scale runs out
in my experience they will not make these adjustments automatically and you will be paying for cover you don't need
