I have not had a chance to sort out the mover. My husband has just had an operation on his foot so I have been on nursing duties.

I did speak to Truma and they have told me where to find the control under the bunk, my son is coming at the weekend so he will help me pull the caravan out so I can get inside and see if I can rest the handset to the mover. Otherwise I have the phone number of a mobile fitter who lives less than 3 miles from us.

I will let you know what happens.

I hope you get it fixed ok. I would be in the same position as you if I didn't have one. Fingers crossed!

Well to cut a long story short, I have not been able to get hold of anyone to come and look at the mover. I did pull the van out and check the reset etc and when I turne the hand control on I could hear the motor working but it will not move the van. I am at a loss so have booked it into the ealer we used to buy our vans from, he is going to have a butches at it for us. Fingers crossed its something simple and not a new mover!!

I may of missed it but still no mention of the caravan battery being charged so capable of moving the van?
As it is, you say you can hear the motors turn which I assume is while not connected onto the wheels? If so then this may suggest a flat caravan battery?

One other thing and it depends on what make your charging systems is, but on the then popular Plug in Systems units for instance, the car/van switch is set in the middle position for charging from the car while towing.

I have checked the battery several times and it is almost fully charged. I pointed this out before,
