We have just moved from tents to a caravan and with the caravan we got a Larsen awning but we have no idea how to put it up, it came without instructions, on the plus side it looks in good clean condition, I know that the Larsen company have stopped trading or merged with another awning company but I can not find anywhere that has instructions can anyone help please?
I think Telt Larson became one third of Trio?, either that or Trio bought their factory for extra production?
'Larson' though is simply a 'name' not a manufacturer. Given that I'm not sure if the frame arrangement is the same as my Telt Larson, if it is though, the logic of it is dead simple and should be fairly obvious.
However if any plastic ends like feet or hooks are missing, then this stops the logic as the plastic bits are the clues to where they go!!
That and one other thing stumped me originally, this was they use one frame size for a big range of awning sizes.
This means the front rafters uses 3 tubes each side of centre regardless of awning size, but, depending on total length, one of the tubes can almost be fully inside the one next to it and with only a few inches sticking out
Also and why I think they became part of Trio, Trio frames use/d the same arrangement so their plans may well help
Thanks arc systems for the advice, I have never put an awning up before so I'm not sure if anything is missing I have no idea how many poles, hooks or clips I should have, I will look at the trio website.
