Met office says gusts of 52mph general windspeed between 25 and 30mph, think we might wait til Saturday when it looks like it'll be calmer.

Just returned from cornwall in very high winds and was surprised at the huge number of people on The road with their caravans. Glad we not going till net weekend, hope the weather will be better then.

Wind here died right down about 3.30 and as only travelling 17 miles thought we would go for it. Now languishing in bed watching bond with a glass of rose. Bliss x

It's lovely day here now, although we are not going away.
I have the van on the drive and I'm doing a few jobs on it.
