hi i am a new member and looking for some help hope you can help i have acquired a bradcot annexe to go on my awning also a bradcot but when i come to zip it on i could not zip it up i have looked at the zip and the code on the annexe is ykk but the code on the awning is opti could it be the zips are not the same my awning is not a new one i think is late 1998 but in good con thanks in advance for your help
It certainly is mine for all the things that I have bought without first checking compatibility and fit etc. Most things are easy enough to move on to a more suitable home.
It also depends on what Bradcot awning you have as the 'Active' and the 'Classic' models are both 3 metres wide (from the caravan) whereas the 'Sport' model is only 2.4 metres so the annexe fittings may well be different. An annexe for the 'Active' and 'Classic' models should zip all the way round whereas the 'Sport' is most likely to zip up one side and along the top and the remaining fixture being the chord that slides into the awning rail at the front and attached to the top of the awning front aperture. Due to the different fixture on the 'Sport' the connecting zips may well be different so it's best to check that you have the correct annexe for the Bradcot model awning you have.
