Hi,

Just got back from a Trip In the Caravan,I Took the Plunge abd Bought the Paella Pan for my New Cadac.

Heres the Problem,When I put the Paella Pan on to the Cadac,The flame Dies and goes out??? Has anybody else had this Problem?? All the Other Pieces worked Fine??

Am I doing something wrong?? I followed the Instruction and I am Pretty sure it went were it should have gone!!

Really frustrating, was really looking bforward to using it.

Hope someone can point me in the Right direction?

Cheers In advance.

Stu

You took the fat/drip tray (big black one) off and just put it on the blue main burner base?
Shouldn't go out as there are two viewing holes either side that let air in

I had same problem, still find it a little too hot at times though, so use the pan wire which seems to give me less heat. I use the Caac only when in van or tent. We bought roasting tin also, but the official PDF is wrong as it burnt our roasting tin when followed their instruction. Cadac did replace it and suggested we used the black drip tray, which has improved cooking. It's a great versitle unit and I have cooked every meal, from curries, roasts, fry ups to boiling veg.

Glad it helped Stu. The Paella Pan is a great addition and we have been on short break and only taken that and left all other bits at home.
As BiffOR says it can get hot even on low setting on gas

We also bought a cheap roasting tin from s supermarket of right size and used that for small joints or fish covered up with foil

Its a great piece of kit so don't give up yet!
