Thinking of having external gas & electric points fitted to the van, just to make life a little easier when we use an awning.

What sort of cost should I be expecting for this work? I'm assuming it would need to be carried out by an authorised fitter to maintain the warranty.

I would think it would be. I would suggest contacting whoever normally services you van and ask a cost

it cost us £98 for an external 240 v point at Wandahome fitted pre delivery

It depends if you are any good at DIY. I did my own external 230v socket and it was pretty straight forwards. Cost around £25 all in and took a couple of hours. The gas is another thing but again it is straightforwards.
