The valve has been exposed to frost and has broken away leaving the plstic screw in the unit. Are you able to tell me the size of the thread in order that can be extracted and retapped if required.

You could try heating a flat blade screwdriver tip and melting it into the plastic screw then undo it . No idea what the thread size is .

The thread is M16, same as a towball bolt.
By 'extract' I hope you don't mean use of a stud extractor? Don't even think about it, it needs cutting out
