Hi all,
Whilst cleaning my new van which is a 1999 ABI Sprinter I managed to snap the door retainer catch which holds the external door open against the van body when in use. I have founf a new part on ebay for £2.65 which I will order. I am worried about fitting it and also if it will be the correct size (are they all the same). I would like not to change the bit attached to the door and just replace the snapped part which ios on the van body.
Is it just a case of removing the 2 screws and screwing the new one in?
Do I need to do anything to the screws to prevent water ingress etc when i fit the new part?
thanks in advance.
Othewise van is great.
