Saw these featured in CC Club mag a while ago. After an uncomfortable time in the heat last year in France.I am thinking of getting one of these.I know they operate within the 6amp offered at most sites,wondered if anyone knows whether they are as quiet as claimed on website.I have read the thread started by Tammie on 20/03/13 and wondered whether any one has actually used one
They are not going to be silent & their position on the side of the caravan makes them annoying at night for whoever is on next pitch trying to sleep, particularly a tent camper. I've encountered this in the past with free standing a/c units, soon cured by pulling out ehu cable though.
Weare going mid September for a month when it should be fairly quiet so I am hoping that we will pick a pitch with no immediate neighbours.Thats the plan up to now!
Last year in central France,we couldn't sleep cos of the heat and during the day,even in the shade,it was very uncomfortable..
