We have just brought home our new caravan which is a twin axle fitted with a all wheel drive mover. Can anyone advise us the best way to level it we used a clampco leveller with our single axle van but two will not fit.
I would have thought that any kind of lifting jack would be okay on a hardstanding but on a grass pitch would most likely to sink into the ground which is the place where levelling is more likely to be needed if any. If I had a twin axle I would be tempted to do a DIY job and make my own wooden ramp by measuring the distance of the two road wheels (outside to outside) and make the first platform double that length and the second one shorter which is the first distance measured and fix the two together (one on top of the other from one fixed end) with glue, wooden dowels and screws. The thickness of each plank would need to be around 1 inch so the ramp is 2 inches high in total which is usually enough in most situations and you can pull the caravan up the ramp with the towcar to either the first or second level.
