Really stressed at the moment - our Pegasus Ancona 2 is back with Bailey for the second time for work to fix a leak and associated water damage.
We first noticed a leak when the van was about a year old; our dealer had 2 or 3 goes at fixing it, but eventually it went back to Bailey. Four months later we had it serviced before our spring trip, only to be told that there was 35% damp in the flooring. It appears that the van was fixed, but the interior hadn't been dried out beforehand. That seems simply lazy to me....
Anyway, we contacted Bailey via our dealer, who agreed to take the van back following our spring trip; it was eventually collected at the beginning of June. Now, we have made it crystal clear that we have our summer holiday booked to leave UK 3rd week in July, going to south of France for three weeks, and we were assured that our van would be back in time, and certainly by second week in July latest.
Three weeks later, and with no news, we contacted Bailey via our dealer, to be told that it would be returned week commencing 20th July!! This is no good! We need to re-kit the van before we go. We are both working that week up until the day before we go, so time is tight anyway.
I have sent two emails to Bailey customer services without reply, and when I rang the main switchboard was told that I cannot speak to customer services, only email them. Fat lot of good that did!
Now at my wits end - anyone got any ideas? Don't think we'll be buying Bailey again, just because of their 'customer service', or rather lack of it.
Should be looking forward to our holiday, but now just stressed to the eyeballs.

What if the Hokey Cokey really is what it's all about....?

We part ex our 18 month old Bailey Unicorn for a new Elddis Crusader, the build quality is very poor. The repairs under warranty on the van from microwave not working, blinds not functioning properly, skylight leaking, new door and frame etc. l will never ever buy another Bailey.
l hope everything works out for you and you do have your trip to France next month.
Best of Luck

Being practical, would it not be better to get it back now, as is, take your holiday and then they can have it back?
As I see it they will not have started yet so they may not like it but getting it back to you will be cheaper than being sued for loss of a holiday?!
All these stories about bailey ?? seems to me its the younger vans which are affected.Ive had 3 baileys not including the one ive got just now and have had no problems with leaks...like ive said, seems to be younger vans and mine is a 2001.
and they claim the new way of building the van makes it less prone to water ingress looked at them recently and were not very impressed front lockers too small for water barrels etc and so much bling lighting inside stayed with my 07 abbey for another year at least
got rid of our pegasus a month ago , totally fed up of failure after failure ,been dire from day 1 , its put us off caravanning altogether.
worst thing we ever did was buy bailey
best thing we ever did was get rid..happy days

Try their Facebook page, I've always found companies start to listen when you spread bad news via this method.
i got banned from their facebook page for doing that ..spreading bad publicity.
We've asked our dealer to try to get the van back 'as is' now; just waiting for calls tomorrow now to see what they can/will do. They can fix it when I've had my holiday....
Think will start looking for a new van!

I work in the social media world and that type of behaviour is the biggest no no of the industry, any company deleting customer posts just because they don't like the content demonstrates utter contempt for their customers.
I have to say when we purchased new earlier this year we just couldn't justify the price of a Bailey against the Adria we ordered. Given the £4,000 or so premium you would expect excellent after sales service.
My first dealing directly with bailey. I ordered some parts from the online spares site on 25th June at 16-20, 5 lines in total.
4 were available for dispach the other was out of stock and would be dispached on 3rd July.
All 5 lines arrived today 27th June at 12-55.
