I am off in a few weeks down Devon M42 ..... M5 ...... A361

What are the roads like at the moment? Any roadworks to talk about?

Shall be travelling between 6.00pm - 11.00pm going and coming back

We have been travelling down m5 from m49 to j22 with no problems roadworks wise but it does get busy in rush hours.

Major roadworks still on the Almondsbury interchange but if you hit them outside the rush hour they are fine.

Agree with Hacksaw Bob, Traffic England is a great place to go to check roads before you leave and whilst on the move (as long as you have a passenger and a device that can access the internet). If your phone uses Google Maps on its Satnav that also gives real time traffic updates too.
