hi arrived in site 10 days ago and my Carver water heater went into fault mode, yes there was water in it, next day it was ok,but for the last two days, same again, fault mode, any ideas or is it a visit to the caravan workshop, ( might go down that road only the van is still hitched up outside,) cheers rolls
It should light even if empty so obvious first questions, is their gas too it? and if so check outside to see if it is actually lighting, or, indeed not?
You speak of 'fault mode' and that's only on the gas heating side. Mains electric heating is via a simple on/off switch, it has a red light but only to show it is switched on.
It sounds then like your expecting electric heating but using the gas heating control?!
Yes you are totally correct, i never have the gas on but my neighbour on site gave me some "oven chips" so my heater realy did not have a fault at all, on the leccy, it was a gas fault, still i have had a full ,gas check now (good thing) all is ok, picking the van up this afternoon, (naturally i thought i had a leccy fault as the red light lit up, i didnt know that the red light meant a gas fault) now if the red light was run by gas i would have known SIMPLES lol!! thanks, oh they broke the outside cover another £37, ??
