Hmmmnnn He was doing 20mph for approx 3 mins according to the video - why? Anyone would want to overtake someone going that slowly, even at 20mph, people doing 30 are going to build up behind you. It didn't look like a 20mph road.
Surprisingly, the chap filming said the caravanner who eventually overtook him did well with a nice wide overtake. But didn't he force the overtake by driving too slowly, or am I missing something?
Lol yes he was on a push bike, you actually see the handle bars at one point.
I have to say the caravan driver was very patient, 3 mins feels like a life time when stuck behind a push bike doing 20mph. Well done to him for waiting and overtaking so well.
In the previous 3 minutes there were some totally clear stretches of road where he could have overtaken. When he finally does overtake, he nearly hits the oncoming car. Notice too his offside caravan lights are not working, and he has no overtaking mirrors.
I hate cyclists,I hate overtaking them as understandably need to give them lots of room, so will sit behind one for miles till its safe to pass, but I bet the drivers behind the caravan thought it was the caravan holding everything up, as a caravan tugger if I see a big traffic queue behind me I would pull over when safe so people could pass, why do cyclists not do that
------------- Live life to the full you are a long time dead
why would a driver towing a caravan want to overtake someone in a built up area? it doesn't matter what speed the driver in front is doing the caravan driver should always be patient.
we expect other drivers to show a little patience with us when we are towing. caravan drivers should be doing the same.
caravan driver is nothing but a kn*b..

I do the same - and other road users most of the time say thanks as they pass, so it is appreciated!
Many a time I've been stuck behind a cyclist (a very memorable 5 miles in Wales last year) and I wish they would pull off the road, or at least (if not in a town or village) use the footpath for a while!
I know they have as much right to use the road as everyone else, but there is something called consideration for other road users. And as people grow ever more impatient to get past them, it can lead to accidents.
