Our Thetford N80 finally gave up working. After lots of advice on trying to sort out the problem we are now to the point where we have got to change it.

Instead of buying new we are hoping to fit a second hand one as we hope to soon change the van to a different layout.

We have found a Thetford N90 but it is slightly wider so it means cutting the hole slightly bigger to fit it in.......would you do it, or have you done it??

Any advice greatly received!

Does your current fridge sit in a 'hole' or simply between other cabinets? If you explore this fully, you may find it's a bit more than trimming to fit as depending what's positioned either side of the fridge, you may need to move or modify cabinets to suit. If the fridge sits on the end and just has a trim to finish off the end, this might be more convenient to alter.
How much extra width do you need to accommodate?

As for advice on whether to do this or not, this is very dependent on your ability and confidence in doing the work.
