We have a Coachman Amara 570/6 with a Truma Ultrastore water heater system. We have only been away in it once and today we have collected it from storage and put it on a site near to home to get used to setting it up again. We filled the aquaroll and ran the cold water through the taps and then turned taps to hot to run through even though water ran cold. We switched the Ultrastore switch to electric and started to turn taps onto hot but no hot water. How long does it take to get hot water - do you have to leave it for a bit to heat up?
I know this sounds dim but we are new to this caravanning lark!!!!
Yes. Twenty mins should see it getting warm. An hour and it'll be really hot. It's an immersion heater, not instant hot water. If you do lots of washing or showers you will soon run it cold again. In normal use it will be fine.
Ours takes about an hour to get nice and hot too. I was kind of hoping it was instant until I read the instructions lol! I think I was hoping in a 20 year old caravan!!!
