I've got a 4 amp smart charger which takes 2 days and nights to fully charge an 85amp l. battery if not more, before it goes into maintenance mode.

They had some good smart chargers in Aldi not long ago - don't know whether there are any left, but by all reports, they are as good as the expensive ones.
