Hi all, im a newby and have just bought a water filter housing lid/flap as my van didnt have one, on it it says to replace the water filter at start of season and every 30 days of use.....the van hasnt been used for a year so it will need doing but i dont know where the filter is, any help much appreciated... :-)

its just above the pump connection, turn it all the ay out ,and replace with new one,

Depending on the make, they are about 5-10 quid a throw so just replace I think.
Flush the system out first to make sure there is no standing water in pipes.

my filter is changed twice in the year ,never had a problem with it ,enjoy

yes if you have not steralized the the system before hand ,do as lunarvenus said ,before installing new filter

I also remove filter, let water drain out and refit filter everytime I pack up, just to stop any water going stagnant in the system which you can't see but you will taste.

Use this stuff in your water barrel, tank, and pump through the pipes, leave for an hour, pump through with fresh water. No filter on my system!

Essential if you've bought a van which might not have been drained properly, and been stood for a while.
