Can't see the harm and have done it twice this season now but thought I'd see what you all think.
Rather than putting the double bed back to the double bench seat lounge at front of caravan we're tending to leave it made as a bed...any harm in transit?
It saves time on setting up and taking down, as long as the weather is fine enough to either sit outside or in the awning to eat we can't see the pont in all the extra work!

Nowt wrong with leaving the bed up and it must save you a good 5 minutes of time
heres another good tip leave the waste pipes attached to the caravan and even the water pump theres another 5 minutes saved
only joking
we used to do the same before we got a fixed bed van

We're planning a 2 week holiday and staying on 4 different sites so the end bed where our daughter sleeps will be left made up while travelling. ------------- Homebird

Having the bed made spreads the load off the nose weight, every little helps.
If you have any mobility problems, you will save far in excess of the mocking 5 minutes.

No issue as we used to do the same, but remember that your noseweight will be affected if bedding is left on.

Yes it does save more than the mocking 5 minutes, especially as we not only have our own bedding but also the daughters for the awning to sort through.
Another bonus is how hot it gets in the caravan in this heat whilst doing anything, so the quicker to be outside with beer in hand watching others set up the better
