I have just bought a Protec Generic front towing cover for my Elddis Crusader and fitted it yesterday with no problems. However I have been reading loads of posts about the why's and wherefore's of the cover obscuring the front marker lights and the legality of same. Although we don't intend to travel at night I would rather be safe than cautioned or fined.
Has anyone fitted the diy clear panel kit which comes with these covers? The sticky back plastic strip that comes with the kit has four sections - do you have to cut out four pieces of the cover i.e. each side has a backing piece and the main front cover goes over this. Does the sticky back plastic last? SWMBO has suggested we buy clear flexible sheeting and she stitches it on. Opinions please.
