You could get loads of recommendations - all subjective. For £2000 you're looking at an oldish van. You can find them at that price in great condition or not so good condition. My advice would just be to start looking at the vans in your pricerange and if its in good nick and you like it, buy it. Have a good think beforehand about what you actually want from a van - what will your car tow, how many berths, what will fit up your driveway, do you want end/side dinette or end washroom. Then start looking. Good luck.

Hello

The most important factor you have to consider before you even start looking is what is the maximum permissable weight you vehicle can tow legally. You then can consider the 85% towing weight recommendation for beginners, and before anyone starts banging on about the rights or wrongs of that, that is a whole seperate thread discussion!

For an Idea of vans my advice would be have a look round a few local dealers as there are alot of second hand vans in at this time of year as they are selling off the remaining 2013 new stock to make way for the 2014 models so there are a lot of Part Exchanges about, you can then get a feel for what layout will work best for you.

Then you can decide what to look out for, but a good starting point is that its relatively good condition & Dry, even if your able to get any type of warranty however short it may be then great.

Good luck and keep us updated on what you go for!

Simon

Go round the dealers but leave your wallet at home

I know a chap who has an abbey Stafford gt in good nick and also a lady who has a lunar premier gts 516.
Both lightweight and both situated on season pitches at Upwood holiday park.
I reckon these are both excellent for (max) £2000
