Hello guys,

Just a question as not sure what to do, atm if i can't afford to go disney world me and the wife have been going camping and taken our two dogs with us. But we are expecting our first child in Feb. So we have two choices for our family hols

1, Buy a airbeam tent to make it easrier for pitching and takening down again, then the following year go to disney world ( but was going to do Disney dvc ) as it makes it alot cheaper to go, Price of DVC is about £12,000 with a yearly fee of about £500.

2, Buy a caravan for about £12,000, car is not a issue as i get a new one ever 6 months from car scheme at work,

So what would you do and what do you think I should do as I enjoy all 3 types of hols as my partents us to have a caravan when I was a few years younger. One more thing whats a good caravan to start with ( 4 berth ).

If you change cars every 6 months it'll cost a fortune for all the new towbars.

I would only need one fitted once a year cos of my hols, so I would make sure from Apr-Oct my car would have a tow bar on, think the cost is about £400, Works out cheaper then buy a car that can tow a caravan. As I could not afford to pay for a car and caravan at the same time no money would be left for hols then

I can only keep it for 6 months, but we do have a option to buy the car after the 6 months. It works out about £150 pm for a car thats £30k to buy new and no deposit, so it works out cheap.

That would probably be best bet. but work out what size van is best for you and weight of it before you settle on car.

Yep, caravan, you can then use it for quick getaways as well if you get the time, more of an investment in hobby time as well as just holidays.

Any good caravan dealers in the Cheshire area with good customer service

as I know I we need advice and don't want to be taken for a ride.

Wife likes the layout of a 4 berth with a fix bed. She say that she can use it durning the daytime for the baby for a nap. And keep the caravan tidy at the same time. I could push a buget to of around £15k. So any advice on make would be great and what to stay away from would be helpful. And any other tips would also be greatful
