I have an awning with the big nylon zips, they have become very stiff to use, and when you first put the awning up they are very difficult to connect and use.   Whats the best way to lubricate them that wont mark the awning when its folded up??

 Beeswax. Have used it for years  on camping and caravanning and it doesn't matter if you get it on the fabric either.  Good for sticking drawers, doors etc . Siobhan k

Madly enough I bought a spray can of silicone spray today, j have done the zips, cupboard hinges and stays, and a few other bits and bobs, my new toy.
