I have just replaced my old pump which stopped working despite being very new. But the new installation isn't going as smoothly as I'd have hoped.
I suspect air bubbles are getting into the system. Somehow. Water is pumped into the sink OK, but the flow is erratic and eventually stops. After a few minutes I can turn it back on and water will flow, then again it will stop. Meanwhile, I can hear the buzz of the pump pulsing.
Any idea on what to do about this? By the way, there's a non-return valve on the hose just outside the water tank outlet. Could this be the cause?
Hi and welcome to the forum. My suspicions are the same as yours, air is getting into the system. You'll have to check it very carefully but I think that is the first thing to eliminate.
