When our van is in storage I don't like to leave the roof blinds closed in case it weakens the springs so I have made my own blind which was really easy to do and works well. I had some fly screen mesh which I bought from Aldi as a door kit. I made several hems big enough to thread a garden bamboo canes through at about 6 inch intervals. The finished blind is a little wider than the opening and a little longer. Once I have fed the bamboo canes through the hems I then feed the canes into the chanel that the roller blind uses. Poke any excess into the chanel and both ends.  The blind works well when the caravan is on site but I always remove when in transit.

Hi Maggie, You dont say which model it is so I am assuming it's a Heki ll, they are very expensive to my mind as all Heki bits seem to be but installation doesn't appear too difficult to an reasonable DIYer. Have a look at the link. (£45 or so)
