Anyone out there that has or has had an Swift Ace Prestige . We have seen an 2013 model twin axel brand new but seems a little to cheap for a brand new one .its from a caravan dealer but we are thinking of trading are elddis odyssey in . And I don't want to make a big mistake .
hi .i was just wanting advice on this make , it's a 2013 model so it should have no problems at the moment , I just hope that they are not prone to damp in there near future or any other problems I'm trading my 2001 caravan in and I don't no if I'm getting ripped off . Also we are going from a single axel to a twin . The new caravan just seems really cheap for a 2013 caravan (6 birth)
You still haven't given any info so we can't advise you on this to be fair.
What price is the van up for and have you been offered a PX value for yours? Is the Swift 2nd hand?
As for damp, you only have to search the forums to see there's a good amount of folk who experience damp on even new vans, so you need to go with the usual precautions and have the van inspected or damp test yourself (I'd damp test any 2nd hand van personally, regardless of age).
They are asking 15,500 for a brand new Swift Ace Prestige and they have offered me 4.500 for mine mine is a 2002 elddis 505 . We are new at this game and the Elddis was are first caravan . Do you think it's a far deal
No idea whether it's a fair deal but my question would be why are you upgrading? As the owner of a very old caravan which is dry and cosy and clean inside, I cant see myself upgrading any time soon...
You may infer from this post that I am not too keen on parting with our hard-earned cash, and you'd be correct!
