Hi all,
We're going off on sunday for 4 nights. Decided this time to try out sleeping with a duvet instead of a sleeping bag. Because i have a dinky caravan (Freedom), i decided a memory foam topper would be too heavy and bulky. Have just recieved a microfibre topper i ordered. Just the job. Think i may spend the 4 days in bed!!!!!!

Sleep on a 12.5 tog, with a 4.5 tog over us in Summer; swap them round for Winter if its that cold.
We have been to Edinburgh in -8 deg C overnight; with 1kW of heater set to 8, we still didnt need to swap the duvets round, but other vans may be colder (I set to with the silicone to seal up any panel draughts; made a big difference).
Modern vans are SOOOO warm & toasty in the snow!!

We switched to duvets years ago.

Thats a good idea, hadn't thought of that!!! Morrisons are selling quilts at the moment (in our local store). They have 4.0 tog for about £6 and 10.5 tog for £8. Quite a good buy!!!

Always used a duvet or in the Summer months just a sheet.
------------- XVI yes?
As well is two words!
How does a sage know everything about everything? or does he? or does he just think he does?
Remember, if you buy something you bought it, not brought it.

Total bargain, sounds like a plan!
An old dude at work suggested this to me; works PERFECTLY for us!! Just about to add a couple of memory foam toppers, one under each of us, but will still use 2 duvets.

We always sleep on a 13.5 tog duvet and then cover ourselves with an appropriate weight for the season. The 13.5 does a good jod of ironing out any lumps from the cushions.

For a licence dated 1997 or later you must add together the plated max weight of the caravan and trailer, if the total is 3500 or less you can tow it. You may even tow a caravan with a MAM greater than the cars unladen mass the restriction was removed in 2013
