Well we have managed to get a long weekend away in Belford north Northumberland lovely site, lovely location and lovely weather warning for Friday and Saturday (heavy rain, high winds) but do we care not a jot were sitting in the van cosy as toast, radios on, kettles boiled and good books what more do you need . At least the rain is washing all the sea spray of the car after parking in Sea house's harbour car park with waves braking over the sea walls . Is anyone else up this neck of the woods this weekend ?
Coming up to Beadnell Bay next mid week for a whiley, so I hope the weather improves for then! I saw the huge waves at Seahouses on the news the other day, in relation to the change in the weather!
well weather turned out great today nice and sunny so all is good and looking good for anyone heading up northeast this week. We are heading home tomorrow but can only say Northumbria is lovely and well worth the visit to any one heading up the M1/A1 stop and spend some time here it's worth it. I stayed at south Meadows caravan site and is perfect for exploring the area. (check my review)
Amazing family weekend with old steam engines, classic car displays, market stalls, and full catering and bar. And camping on site - Save £25 by booking in advance.
