I am going to see a 'van soon, used, which has an all up weight at 1800kg. It is fitted with an ALKO hitch,( the friction grip variety) how do I know if this is the correct one, i.e. suitable for this weight and not the 1300kg model? Same question, but relating to the TRUMA mover, again ther are 2 varieties dependant upon weights. Are these items labelled? I can tow OK as the Landcruiser is well within it's allowance. Any help would be appreciated! Thanks.
Adrian.

How does a sage know everything about everything? or does he? or does he just think he does?
Remember, if you buy something you bought it, not brought it.
Will have a look at our Truma mover tomorrow, it's an SR, if memory serves me right, which is a step up from the basic, and can move the heavier single axle vans.
Will let you know if there is any ID on it.
