Try locating the pressure switch near the water inlet point from the water pump. May be under one of the seats. We had this problem and found that it needed adjusting. Ours is a whale pressure switch, there are instructions to adjusting on their web page. I think I googled whale pressure switch adjustment. Hope this helps :0)

I know this may be obvious so forgive me if it is...
Did you run the hot water until it started coming out of the tap smoothly. You have to fill the water heater when you first use it and that takes quite a while and the pump will be running all that time. Probably a couple of gallons is needed for this.
Also, the drain tap must be closed. If not the water heater won't fill and the pump will just keep running.

Greetings,
On a similar theme to Alpiner (above) the pressure switch can sometimes operate at different sensitivity depending whether you are on EHU or 'just' 12v.
On our van, the pump tends to continue working longer when we're without mains. ------------- How come when some people visit the fountain of knowledge, they only gargle!!!
