hi we have downsized our caravan and got a swift 470 2 berth. Our other van had the ariel and tv socket at the front so we had it on the front chest, But this van has them on the side near the kitchen just where the bunk starts .If we run wire round we will have no table at front to pull out but if we put it where it supposed to be then its going to be under the cupboards. just Wondered if anyone else has had this with their two berth and how they got around it.I was thinking maybe a tv bracket but hubby don't fancy drilling into caravan wall as its a newer van. Help anyone got any advice
I wouldn't advise attaching a bracket to an outside / exterior caravan wall.
We fixed one to our wardrobe side wall though. I fitted a "spreader" plate inside the wardrobe, this is a piece of 5x1 timber the full height if the available space. I used a bit of no more nails to glue the timber to the inside of the wardrobe, then nuts and bolts through the bracket, wardrobe wall and timber, using large flat washers to spread the load.
Solid!
