I removed the link due to it being too long but if you type in the search box for Tyrepal you will find the thread there.Post last edited on 04/02/2014 22:38:46

I had thought of these but and at a cost Of £300 I could not justify it. plus you should check tyre pressure before each trip. I know i don't and should. but if going a long way I do. just me, i want to know what my pressure is full time and not be told. being a motor engineer I am very strict on pressures as I have seen the other side story of not checking them.------------- the only silly question is the one you do not ask.

Checking your tyre pressures before setting off does not stop you getting a slow puncture on the move.
THis happened to me two years ago. beng on the caravan I felt nothing and the first indication something was wrong, was when the tyre carcass overtook me on a German Autobahn. Fortunately no lasting damage was done to the van or the car. I have since purchased a TyrePal unit and I use it every time I take the van out.

I have a Tyre Pal and use it every day on my car, I reconfigure it to account for the caravan when we tow, it gives me that extra peace of mind.
