Hi we are travelling back from Roscoff to Plymouth in July, and land at about 10.30pm on a thursday night. I do not fancy driving 7 hours back to north manchester during the night!  So does anybody have any ideas for nearby touring sites or parking with the caravan?

Thanks for reading and look forward to some good suggetsion / ideas

i would try sleep on ferry and drive up thru the night as that road on a friday thru the day will be very busy

I agree, sleep on the crossing and do the journey when you land. Friday traffic will be tedious up the M5; a much less stressful drive through the night I would think.

there is a lorry parking area just off the ferry or a pay and display car park at the marina still in the docks or you could find out about riverside caravan site leigham manor,marsh mills a call to them may help but as others say sleep on the ferry as Fridays in july/august can be very stressful in this area
