Hi caravaners! I have recently purchased a new caravan (new to me, I think its around a 1993) and in the shower room is a carver compact water inlet. can anyone explain the whats and whys with these inlets? excuse me for being daft!
cheers,
Hayley :)
Just been down to our van the water inlet is in the shower it has a blanking plate which i took out then fitted the waterpump into it and filled the aquaroll then turned on the van taps and we got water. So the inlet is for winter caravaning so your aquaroll doesn't freeze. Just one thing the blanking plate hass to go into the outside inlet
If it's in the shower compartment then more than likely it was fitted for winter caravanning. You put the water barrel on the shower washroom floor and fit the connections as normal as it's warmer indoors and saves having to insulate the water barrel and fittings outside.
