hi everyone i have full awning which is to big for my van just(not)how do i measure it have measured were it goes into awning rail and it has removable panels at both ends which fits into awning rail do i take the whole lot and add it together to get right measurements or am i having a blonde moment awning measures 19f 6 and awning rail on each removable panel is 4 foot long anybody wanting to buy it no name on it bit dirty but in good con awning mat breathable one width 7 foot by 16 foot length needs a clean it has metal poles sorry no curtains plenty of life left in it Post last edited on 11/02/2014 12:16:52

measure the beading that fits into the awning rail. if this beading goes ground to ground then this is the full size of the awning to be sold. IF it only goes to the end of the awning rail you need to add on the distance from the ground to the start of the awning rail at both sides. you will not sell it if you do not know the full size.------------- the only silly question is the one you do not ask.

hi michael cheers for reply it is a full awning but both side panels unzip but they both have beading in them i think i have got it doh?

Every awning I've ever had ( and that's quite few) has had a size tag sewn in somewhere along the beading edge.
