Greetings: New to the forum.
Just purchased a 1985 Sprite Major in need of some tlc. It needs the left front window ( 37 3/4 W x 24 1/2 H ) it is made of some type of acrylic.
We are in Florida, US needless to say that not to many of these trailers made it across the Pond.
If anyone has any suggestion as to where I can locate a replacement window, I would appreciate it.
Looking forward to read the forum.
Benny.
You can get these windows made using the old one as a pattern. This is in the UK so mail order from US might be expensive. Are these sort of double glazed plastic windows used in US caravans/RVs? if so you might find a US company that makes them to order.
There are breakers(salvage/auto wrecking yards)in the UK who sell secondhand caravan windows but you will be lucky to find correct size & buying from a breaker really requires a visit to ensure correct size so possibly risky for mail order.
You could try the following company here in Yorkshire, the best part of the UK.
Exhaust Ejector Company, they make replacement caravan windows, they may send to USA, worth asking, cost etc, etc.

twintrain, there is a very good book written by Andrew Jenkinson 'The Story of Sprite Caravans'
ISBN 978-1-845843-58-8.
You may be able to order it from a good bookshop or from a online retailer i.e. Amazon.
From the book, Sprites were sent to the USA in kit form to 'crack' the US market in 1984, when Sprite North America Inc. based at Port Everglades in Florida, in which CI (Caravans International) had a 20% share, who imported the Alpine, Musketeer and Major.
Try get the book if you can, it is a good read.
