i have an Abbey Aventura 319 but cant work out how to replace the water filter... cant even find the old one... any ideas?

It may have been taken out altogether. My Sis has a van with a filter system, and the old filter was completely horrible, forcing bits of carbon into the water. So she took it out and just did without, as we couldn't find a replacement.

What's more important is to sterilize the pipes/water carrier/tank system before you use it for the first time. I use Puraclean... pump it into the pipes, leave to stand for at least an hour or overnight if possible, then pump out and rinse through a couple of times with clean water.

Although I do not have the same van I have a filter on the end of the tube that goes into the Aqua Roll and there is also a bigger filter near the pump which is near the hot water tank.
On an old Dawnstar I had the filter was on the outside of the van below the where you plugged in the pump for the Aqua roll. Here is a link that might help you identify the filter.
