Is there any other options regarding heating caravans. Just tested ours and works fine although were both a bit unsure of using gas heater with young one on board. Previously we used an oil filled rad freestanding but can you get a replacement unitfor the gas one????

Some folks have had the gas heater professionaly removed and a small electric panel heater fitted.
The only problem with that is if you go caravanning with no electric hookup you won't have any heating.

It would be advisable to get a gas check done on all gas appliances annually. I would get the existing gas heater checked out by a pro or just use a small fan heater when on hookup.
