Mostly because its just turned into a moan about breakdown insurance in general. Its moved very far from the the op post to which the simple answer was don't expect a service you haven't paid for, although tbf the op did not contain the correct facts anyway & my intial advice to the op was based on the incorrect info contained in the op which suggested he had not recieved the service he had paid for.

Oh dear sonrich you have made a fatal error here in entering into this without knowing the history of the numerously named troll that is m8. He is one step away from having enough player names for a game of five a side.
I know it's hard, but don't feed the troll!!!

XVI yes?

As well is two words!
How does a sage know everything about everything? or does he? or does he just think he does?
Remember, if you buy something you bought it, not brought it.

Thanks for the warning blueexpo97. Been a member for some time, and having just retired I now have some time to join in occassionly. I thought that as I had some experience on this subject I might share it. Oh well, we live and learn!.... Happy caravanning, careful you don't break down..... Or, if unfortunately you do, perhaps best not post it on here.. Cheers!

But nonetheless, contained in the body of this thread is useful advice that I'm sure has been of assistance to some forum members, so we can at least offer our thanks to those who have contributed to another sucessful thread on ukcs.

I think the biggest thing than can be learnt is don't ever believe what a salesperson tells you and don't sign up to any service untill you have ALL the terms and conditions in writing and have read through them all.
