does anyone know the recommended gap between the roller on a motor mover and the caravan tyre. we bought our powertouch mover from the NEC show and they arranged for someone to fit it at our home. I noticed they used a small block of wood to measure the gap but we have now changed caravans and Glossop caravans fitted our mover to our new van but the gap looks bigger.

Does it work though? Give it a try. You never know, the previous fitting may have been over-narrow, putting strain on the rollers.

Mine is 20mm on an Ego mover, metal blocks came with it. Probably the best bet is to email the makers and ask. The original fitters should have given you the distance blocks after fitting.

power compact          (small rollers) at 20mm

single axle heavy duty ( '''''''''''')    at 20mm

''      ''    ''   '' (large rollers) at 15mm

Twin axle and all wheel drive (large rollers) 15mm
