We are booked on to a cl in the summer.
I know there is no tv signal at all. But would this mean there is no radio as well.
We don't have a satalite and am not worried about no tv but would still like the radio.

It might be useful to know where you have booked into, but generally radio reception is much better than TV.

You can't really tell, if there is no tv signal It could be blocked by a hill or whatever in that specific area so it could block fm radio signal for radio 2 & 4 etc.

Best to ask the site. I have a sattelite but only used it once. You can get dongles or something for laptops which may work, although if there's no TV its unlikely you'll have a phone either.

Most dongles are rather poor at streaming tv channels, and even if you can get a decent signal to do so, the monthly allowance on a pay as you go dongle is soon used up by the tv downloads.

Most places we have been to, including up in the Snowdonia mountains, have a fairly good radio signal, the only problem we have encountered at times is interferance on some channels caused by machinery operation in some areas, and with our old caravan, the radio would suffer from interferance everytime a bus went upto the depot past the West Ayton CC club site, but it might be due to the fact that they were really old banger busses that they ran from up there.

we have one of those flying saucer ariels on the roof.works well but not in whitby at sandsend farm.The radio is fine though.We just take dvds,i dont go away to watch telly.Mainly rubbish ive seen a million times.I do things icant do at home.

Check with the site. Analogue radio may be ok, but digital may not be if tv is non existant.
