Have you ever placed anything on a radiator. I'm thinking, socks, 'T' towels and the like.
Did you ever worry about those items in the slightest being dangerous, with the ability to store the heat placed on them and catching fire (or even God forbid) being able to smoke or give off toxic fumes?
If the answer to my question is No, then you have answered your own question.

No I never put things on radiators. I just put them in the underseat storage
