Unfortunately we have to wait till a van becomes available in our budget and store there. It will, however, be a start, and I'm sure we'll "improve" over the coming years, but what a site, can't wait to have our own little piece of heaven there.
It is so beautiful around that area and some absolutely stunning views. Did you meet Priscilla? Hope you find a caravan soon. We are there tomorrow for 4 days, can't wait.
Hi,I'm a newbie too. You can definitely get a good caravan within your price range but as previously mentioned you would do better to look privately as dealers generally add a £1-2k Mark up. Last month we sold our 1994 buccaneer Caravel. It was in excellent condition and had no sign of damp. We took really good care of it and had it serviced regularly. We sold it for £1750 and that included a porch and full awning, weather cover and all the waste and water containers and leads etc. We have seen similar ones at dealers for £2800 and £3200.
We found Gumtree to be good for searching for a new caravan but be careful there are also lot of conmen on Gumtree too. If something seems too good to be true,it probably is.
Good look in your search.
