My original leisure battery has turned it's toes up and won't hold a charge now that winter has come and gone. I have a new one on order but I was just thinking that the lead in it must be worth something as scrap, or is this just wishful thinking on my part?

Theres not a lot to be made Dave. I worked for a waste yard years ago and i think lead was about 10p a kilo. Might be more now but not enough as a deposit for a new one.------------- Too old to put up a tent but still like waking up to skies and grass...not a cold hotel

Hi James, I went for a Banner Energy Bull, (959 01) from RoadPro, not cheap but a great battery so I will have to look after it.
