Its always best to avoid going over a window if possible, is there no way you could manouver it to fit without touching one, maybe by choosing a different width of Awning?
Im sorry l dont have any experiance of the Air type awnings as yet, our Kampa 390 used to cover the window slightly in our last caravan, and we did have a few very hair fine surface scratches on the window, but unless the sun was shining on that side, you really would not notice them.
