Hi, we set off on our 1st outing yesterday, when my hubby pulled up outside I noticed the feet on the steadies were wafting about (very technical term!) I mentioned it but he said that he thought it was ok, we've bought the van from his mate and his mate hadn't mentioned anything about the steadies. We arrived at the site and one of the feet is now missing! We've read through the manuals but can't find out what we are supposed to do with the feet whilst towing? Sorry for the stupid question!!
If you mean the plastic feet on the end of the steadies, these are just add ons, plenty just take blocks of wood to go under steadies intead. Yes the palstic feet can fall off if they get old but they are designed to stay on permanently. You can buy a new set of feet from any caravan shop for a few quid or just saw up some short lengths of 4x2 & use them.
