Hi
Very excited, we have finally taken the plunge and ordered our first ever van, which is going to be sited on a lovely quiet seasonal pitch (March-Nov) in Devon. One of our very many dilemmas is, which awning to go for?
The size we need is 1185 so, as far as I can see, only Bradcot, Inaca and Isabella make suitable ones that large. Spoke to our local dealer yesterday who strongly recommended Isabella, and I must admit when we compared it against the Bradcot displayed alongside it, which also looked impressive, it did win us over.
Our dilemma is this. As our pitch is on a slope, we will have a 2.5m wide decking in front of the van so our awning cannot be any wider, however the Isabella seasonal awnings start at 3m. The dealer assured us that the Isabella Capri would be up to the job as, although it is classed as a touring awning, it is made of similar high quality material. Has any one ever used the Capri as a seasonal awning, and if so, how did it work out? Or could anybody recommend another suitable awning.
Any advise would be gratefully received, as at the moment my brain is in meltdown
I've found one on Jeff Bowen Awnings web site that MAY be of use, but the description is a bit ambiguous. It's a Dorema Exclusive 250 and the description states a 1100-1125 is £1129 or the OVER 1125 is £1169.
We bought our Eurovent Montreux from them and found them to be most helpful so it might be worth giving them a call and ask their advice.
