We have decided to get a Caravan, having camped under canvas for a few years, we think we would manage to get away more with a caravan. Anyway, where should I look to find reviews on the types and makes of vans? I know on this site there are reviews for tents, but have no idea where to start with vans.
If you see a van you like ask on here - it is the best place for an honest answer.
If you are looking for a new caravan the Caravan Club do reviews but they are a commercial organisation and they only review vans submitted by manufacturers so beware of those not reviewed. They are also less likely to be critical or advertising revenue may suffer
All UK makes of caravan are much of a muchness, theres no best or better one, the components like chassis & interior fittings are common to all of them. If you are buying secondhand, its only about the condition of the actual caravans you are considering not the make. If you are buying new, all have much the same warranty & all can have faults. Its probably better to buy from a dealer local to you as its easier to get warranty issues sorted.
