If you mean the rubber trim that hides the screws inside the awning rails and trims, you can buy it from Seals Direct. It's pretty easy to fit, just start at the bottom and pull around the inside with a pair of pliers. Best to put a bit of WD40 or wax furniture polish/wax candle in there to help it on its way. I finished the job off by putting a blob of sealant at each end.

it is that strip that hides the screws jax.
can't wait to have a go now.
will soak it juan and I will use wax or WD40.
thought about drilling a hole in one end of strip and putting small tie through it to make it easier to pull.
Not sure if a hole would work, it's a pretty tight fit so it might just tear. What I did was to thread it in (at the lowest point) and just pull a bit out again at the top, then I grabbed that with the pliers and pulled it through that way.
I also put a smear of sealant on the screw heads before I started and let that go off first. Some of them were rusty where the water had got in behind the old seal - and I wasn't taking any chances!
Remember to order a yard more than you think you need, just in case!
Re. Seals direct... if you're not sure which seal you need, you can send them a bit to match, or identify a few which look likely and ask for samples via an email to their online site. They usually come the next day. Brilliant service.
I managed to get strip in. my brother helped me.
all we did was put one edge in for about 6 inch then pushed the other edge in with a knife. went round 6 inch at a time.
put sealant on rail underneath and the screws.
my problem now is to seal the bottoms to stop them coming out again.
caravan next to mine has used self tapper screws. I was wondering if I could use self tappers.
would self tapper screws go through the aluminium rail?
would I have to drill a small hole into aluminium to start it off?
any help would be appreciated.

Great stuff, glad you got it sorted. It's a good idea to look very closely around the other seals on the caravan, just in case some of the others have started to deteriorate.
I fixed mine with black marine sealant at the ends, but any sealant should do the job. I wouldn't use self tapping screws as you are just making another hole for water to get in.
JAX
was thinking about using the self tapper underneath.
the old strip went underneath the caravan and was wired to the underneath of the caravan. in the corner.
was thinking of doing the same. take the overlap strip underneath and screw it to the caravan floor. in the corner,
hi
managed to tack end of strip underneath caravan with small self tappers.
I used those fold over screw caps that you use when you are fitting plastic roof sheets as washers.
I will see what it is like when I take it out for the first time after my attempt at DIY. lol.
Thanks to everyone for giving me the advice and confidence to have a go.
